Concluding chapter.
From the hypotheses to the resolution.

“I want to add a connection between the two chapters of my intervention, last December 16th, legal conception of love and science of thinking, and faith.”[1]
‘Concluding chapter’ is a resolution, and peace: one’s work already began with hypotheses of thinking, of which Freud was the first scientist as he identified the instance that sanctions conscience.
However there is a step, which starts from the hypotheses and arrives to the resolution – we can call it faith – from which no scientist, as a Sciences operator, would exempt himself, or herself.
Moses is an adult, and entrusted to the Government: the Tables of the Law that he even knows and by which he considers himself chosen, are sliding to him on the ground because a thinking has prevailed. Faith is not necessarily hope: Moses is close to a conclusion he had not foreseen, realistic indeed but shocking, and that not yet reached to conscience: it is already a thinking, his own gaze cannot be avoided.
In a very long time, and characterized by wars, made of desperate abandonments and tenacious returns, the cultured Michelangelo had worked on it: just like Moses, he too is no longer a child who gratifies without delay or condemns without early release. The trustworthiness of what he only intuits will make conscience swallow unnecessary remorse and repentance that others deserve. Michelangelo is an adult when he sculpts in marble the concluding faith which already paid dearly the naivety of deception and therefore admits the reality of deceivers and perverts.
Moses is an adult who saves himself: this, Michelangelo leaves us engraved in marble.
