The unexpected orebody.

A quiet signal from thinking.

“…The speaker (Freud, editor’s note) spoke of two facts demonstrating that within ‘I’, too, there is an unconscious which behaves dynamically in the exact same manner as the removed unconscious: these are a resistance originating from ‘I’ during the course of analysis and an unconscious sense of guilt.”

To benefit from one’s calling[1]/82.

Freud points out in the patient that there is some thinking as a resistance which, however, has nothing to do with conscience, because conscience has neither removed the unconscious nor thrown this into crisis. Is it a matter of a 'not yet'? We do not know.

What is certain is that conscience hesitates to remove the unconscious—perhaps conscience has not even noticed unconscious.

Therefore, this unconscious remains an available raw material, coming, moreover, from an unexpected orebody.
